Alkagesta reported first-half 2026 revenue of $1.01 billion at its Singapore operation, alongside marine fuel deliveries of 1.65 million metric tonnes, in a company update ahead of SIBCON 2026. The announcement, dated 14 October, outlined the business’s expansion since the establishment of Alkagesta Asia Pte in July 2025 and its plans to meet shipping and trading counterparts at the conference.

According to Alkagesta, the first-half delivery total was approximately 104% above the 0.81 million metric tonnes recorded in 2025. Revenue for the six-month period was approximately 171% higher than the figure for the whole of 2025, the company said. The comparisons therefore cover different reporting periods, with the Singapore business established partway through the earlier year. The update did not provide a separate second-quarter breakdown or a profit figure.

Alkagesta also put its monthly delivered volumes at approximately 250,000 metric tonnes, which it said represented around 5% of Singapore’s marine fuels market. That market-share estimate was presented as a company claim. The announcement attributed the operation’s development to its local team, infrastructure, commercial relationships and market capabilities, without detailing individual investments or identifying customers behind the reported volumes.

Founder and chief executive Orkhan Rustamov joined the Singapore office for the week as the team gathered before SIBCON. Alkagesta described the conference as a chance to strengthen existing commercial relationships and explore opportunities across the Asia-Pacific region. Its intended discussions span shipping, marine fuels and commodity trading, placing the event within the Singapore hub’s regional business development plans.

The company’s update centres on the scale reached by its marine fuels operation as it enters its second year. While Alkagesta set out further regional ambitions around the conference, it did not announce a new transaction, financing arrangement or specific expansion commitment.
